Feeling : Anger, Fear, Frustration

Thought to self: You Fanny! How could you let that happen. She could’ve got really hurt! What if G hadn’t been there? You failed!

Reality Check ( aka ‘What I’d say to a friend in the same situ’): It was an accident, you didn’t mean for it to happen. B’s fine. the wheelchair is fine. The power pack made it heavier than normal. Be glad G was there. He could just do it because he’s physically stronger than you. It’s heavier than you. It’s just science. Be kind to yourself.

What I learn for next time : If the power pack is on the chair it adds weight and is really heavy, probably too heavy to tip back. try and find slopes on kerb, don’t tilt back and/or ASK FOR HELP WUMMIN from someone stronger than you … even if that someone is a man … even if that someone is your husband!
