Parking: Green Light – 3 great disabled spaces right at front door.

Accessibility: Green Light – a member of staff saw us and came to open the front door and hold it for us. Once inside there is plenty of room for wheelchair.

Service: Green Light – The staff are warm and friendly and call B by name and direct conversation to her, which is lovely and creates a warm, friendly ambience.

Cost: £13.50 for pot of tea, cappuccino and crumble with custard .

Tea review: Green Light – own pot for 2 cups, a plentiful milk jug, a cup B can hold and a bonus Biscoff biscuit on the side!

Cake/pudding review: Green Light – an apple and cherry crumble with separate jug of custard ( I can’t confirm whether Mum ate the remnants of the custard from the jug with a tea spoon ;-))!

Jennie’s review: We love The Gatehouse and feel part of their community! Many of the staff have built personal relationships with B over the years and they have welcomed our whole family and dog! The Old Gatehouse is very disability friendly and the manager, Ian deserves a special shout out for modelling inclusivity from the top, we appreciate it. B likes to keep the staff in loom bands as a thank you.
